Questions
How do you verify eligibility?
Schools and instructors are verified automatically when they sign up with a school email address, such as .edu or .k12. Nonprofits enter their EIN, and we confirm it against the IRS list of tax-exempt organizations before upgrading the workspace.
Can programs use the built-in AI builders?
Nonprofit and school workspaces get the same $5 starting credit as every new workspace. Classroom workspaces don’t include the in-app AI. Students build through their own Claude, or by writing the code themselves.
Do students count as active users?
No. Students join a classroom workspace as developers, and developers never count toward a plan.
